FRIED QUAIL

Quail
buttermilk
all-purpose flour
salt and black pepper to taste
garlic salt to taste
butter-flavored vegetable oil

Dip Quail pieces in buttermilk; then dredge in flour seasoned with salt, black pepper and garlic salt. Fry Quail in oil in cast-iron skillet until golden, turning once.
